Controller

The controller is the sole trader who operates CAD Jobs in Berlin, Germany. Name and address are on the Legal notice. Contact: [email protected]. No data protection officer is appointed, as none is required.

Data we process

Visiting the site. Your browser sends your IP address and technical details so we can deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse. We count page visits and apply clicks without linking them to you. Apply takes you to the employer, whose own privacy policy then applies. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

Job listings. Some listings come from public career pages and may contain a name or contact detail published by the employer. If it is yours, tell us and we will remove it.

Job alerts. Your email, your search, and how often you want alerts. We send alerts only after you confirm your address. Legal basis: consent (Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link.

Posting a job. Your work email, the company details, and the listing. Your email is not published. Legal basis: contract (Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR).

Automatic review. Before a listing goes live, its text is checked automatically for spam and fraud. The check can refuse the listing. Your email is not part of it. You can ask for a person to review a refusal and give your view (Article 22 (3) GDPR).

Payments. Stripe collects your billing details and card on its own pages. We do not see your card number. We keep the payment record. Legal basis: contract and our legal duty to keep accounts (Article 6 (1) (b) and (c) GDPR).

Contact and withdrawals. Your email and message, or for a withdrawal your name, the contract, and the time we received it. Legal basis: your request and our legal duties (Article 6 (1) (b) and (c) GDPR).

You must give an email address to post a job or receive alerts. Without it we cannot provide either service.

Cookies

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use cookies to keep employers signed in, to let you manage a job alert, and to avoid counting the same visit to a job twice in one day. A chosen colour theme is stored only in your browser. Stripe and Cloudflare may set their own cookies during payment or the bot check.

Recipients and transfers outside the EU

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with these providers:

Cloudflare sends our emails and runs the bot check. United States. Safeguard: EU standard contractual clauses.

Stripe processes payments. European Union and United States. Safeguard: EU standard contractual clauses. Stripe is partly an independent controller under payment law.

The review provider checks listing text. China, which has no EU adequacy decision. The transfer is necessary to publish the listing you ask us to publish (Article 49 (1) (b) GDPR).

How long we keep data

Employer data: until you delete your account. Job alerts: until you unsubscribe. Payment records: 8 years, as German tax law requires (§ 147 AO). Withdrawal declarations: 3 years. Contact messages: until the matter is closed. Technical data: a short time only.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correction, deletion, restriction, and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw consent at any time. Employers can download their data and delete their account on the manage page. For everything else, email [email protected].

You may complain to a supervisory authority. Ours is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit (datenschutz-berlin.de). You may also contact the authority where you live.

Changes

We update this policy when our processing changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
