Create / coordinate creation of the outline models for the required PBMs and locate them in MM, considering the system of coordinates. - During Detailed Design projects collaborate with Systems Engineering, DE SILs and PBM owners to complete the detailed definition of the PBM 3D models as per requirements identified in accordance with CDR outline models. Identify possible misalignments between CDR and DDR models. Validate the 3D model interfaces, verify there are no interferences and report out. - Following SILs requirements, take actions to validate the PBMs not only at static view, but also analyse the dynamic requirements during assembly, installation and service operations. - Chairman for the Master Model Review meetings. Following Systems requirements, DE SILs and PBM owners, share and double check the 3D models in the Wind Turbine System or subsystem. Be sure about completeness of the review (all PBMs). - Communicate 3D modelling progress to all levels of the organization. Drive accountability that designs are accurately represented via models. - Look for the health of the Master Model, quality of models, their attributes such as weight, size of the files, naming convention, Variant Group cleanliness according to PS. - Look for the MM models can be downloaded easily. - Recommended to have CAD, CAE and CAM capabilities to improve design processes. Benchmark and leverage other GE business’s success in CAD, CAE and CAM. - Work closely with the Design Team to plan, design and implement technical changes to components of our Wind Turbine. - Support and coordinate with interfacing teams within the organization including global and domestic. - Help leadership drive the team to the vision of Digitization enabling the use of CAD models in Manufacturing and Services reducing the need for drawings and the labour necessary to create and maintain them. - Be able to supervise a group of PDE Engineers towards an objective, not only in terms of timeline but also in terms of Quality. - Supporting the Drawing Quality check/PDE Internal review approvals in PLM. - Follow Up on PDE metrics, mainly First Time Yield (FTY) and On Time Delivery (OTD) for every program. - Take necessary actions to improve FTY in collaboration with the teams and PDE subsystems. - Capture lesson learned for every program and use the information to improve quality systematically. - Provide Senior Leadership on 2D and 3D PDE quality standards. - Help to update and improve PDE CHECKING GUIDE as per lessons learned or new tools deployment. - Contributes to create/improve internal PDE processes and consider AI usage to the different Lean Initiatives. - Contributes to improving PDE operativity both internally and with outsourcing. - Identify opportunity growth/improvements both internally and with outsourcing. **Required Qualifications** - Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science. - Proven 3D CAD experience –NX, CATIA, Pro-E or SolidWorks. - System Level design experience. - Intermediate General Dimensions & Tolerances (GD&T) knowledge. - Proven experience leading Master Models, with a plus in OFW environment. - Experience with machine head module for OFW products. **Desired Characteristics** - Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. - Sound mechanical design and analytical background. - Fluent in English and Spanish. - Familiarity with manufacturing processes. - Demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion. - Strong oral and written communication skills. - Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. - Interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers. # **Additional Information** **Relocation Assistance Provided:** No
