National Oilwell Varco, is seeking an experienced Product Engineer for its Artificial Lift System's Business unit. The Ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, sustaining and improving products specifically for ESP's throughout their lifecycle. NOV is seeking a motivated and detail oriented Product Engineer that has 3-5 years minimum experience in artificial lift industry, or more specifically, electric submersible pumps. In this role the ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, improving and supporting products from concept through production. This role involves collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure products meet customer requirements, reliability thresholds and product performance. ### Responsibilities - Design, develop and enhance products based on customer and business requirements - collaborate with product management, design, manufacturing and quality teams throughout the product lifecycle - create and maintain engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation - create and edit Bill of Materials for variety of products - conduct product testing, validation and performance analysis - identify design improvements to enhance quality, reliability, manufacturability and cost efficiency - support new product introduction and product launches - Perform root cause analysis for product failures and recommend solutions - Participate in design reviews, risk assessments and continuous improvement - work with suppliers and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues - work individually or as part of a team and ability to multi-task ### Qualifications - Bachelors degree in mechanical Engineering or related technical field - 3-5 years of experience in product engineering, product development or a similar role - Proficiency in CAD software such as solidworks - Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials and quality standards - strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Use of Basic hand tools including quality measuring devices - 2d drawing and understanding of GD&T - Project Management and time management skills
