We’re embracing AI and emerging digital tools to help our teams work smarter, improve processes, solve problems, and deliver greater value to our clients, while keeping sound engineering judgment at the center of our work. **What You’ll Do:** - Assist with the design and layout of HVAC and plumbing systems for a variety of projects. - Produce design and construction documents using Revit, BIM, and other engineering design tools. - Conduct site surveys to document existing conditions and identify installation deficiencies. - Apply quality-control practices to help ensure designs and deliverables meet project requirements. - Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and other disciplines throughout project delivery. - Assist with submittals, bid estimates, equipment procurement, site visits, and client meetings as needed. - Explore and responsibly use AI, automation, and emerging digital tools to improve workflows, productivity, and project delivery while applying sound engineering judgment. - Grow your technical expertise through hands-on experience, mentorship, training, and continuous learning. **What you Bring:** - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering. - 0–5 years of relevant experience in building systems design, construction, or a related field. - Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and Trane TRACE 3D (or similar) load calculation software is desired. - Ability to work with supervision while taking ownership of assigned responsibilities and contributing effectively as part of a project team. - Strong problem-solving, communication, time-management, and organizational skills. - Curiosity about AI, automation, and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and thoughtfully apply new tools to engineering workflows. - Experience with HVAC and plumbing system design is a plus. - Knowledge of energy modeling and LEED documentation is a plus. - Experience with Design/Build projects and commissioning support is a plus. **Why Solutions AEC?** At Solutions AEC, we’re not just designing projects.
