If you're looking to grow your career within an extremely reputable, stable Fortune 100 company - let's talk! **Position Overview** The Mechanical Drafter supports a team of Manufacturing Engineers by producing the drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation needed to bring new manufacturing equipment and processes online. This is an excellent opportunity to build hands-on drafting experience in a manufacturing environment. **Key Responsibilities** - Draft and model tooling, tool layouts, and fixture drawings for newly purchased machines and processes - Support tool design engineering with drawings and 3D models, expanding the group's tool design drafting capabilities - Assist Manufacturing Engineers with layouts and with the development and validation of technical documentation for new machine acquisitions - Convert supplier drawings to company drafting standards - Review and align on work priorities with the manager - Occasional access to the factory floor **Qualifications** ***Required*** - High school diploma plus 1+ years of drafting or related experience - Demonstrated drafting and 3D modeling skills - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings - Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks with minimal follow-up once trained - Professional conduct, including appropriate language, strong time management, and professional personal presentation ***Preferred*** - Experience with Siemens NX and/or AutoCAD - Desire to gain experience in a technical field - 401(k) - Dental insurance - Vision Insurance - Disability insurance - Employee assistance program - Health insurance - Health savings account - Life insurance - Paid time off - Paid Holidays Please follow the link to our website for a list of job openings in Engineering, IT, Project Management, and more! https://www.dsnworldwide.com Salary expectations: 35,000-38,000 per annual
