About the Role
Ninja is looking for an experienced MEP Designer to develop, review, and maintain electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and building-services designs for new and existing stores.
The ideal candidate will ensure engineering designs meet safety standards, operational requirements, cost-efficiency objectives, and long-term maintainability.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review MEP drawings, technical specifications, equipment schedules, and engineering calculations.
Develop electrical load calculations, single-line diagrams, cable sizing, lighting, and power layouts.
Perform HVAC cooling load calculations, AC sizing, ventilation requirements, and refrigeration design reviews.
Coordinate plumbing, drainage, fire alarm, and fire protection requirements with relevant specialists.
Prepare BOQs, material specifications, and technical comparisons.
Review contractor submissions and drawings, inspect installations, and support testing, commissioning, and handover.
Maintain standardized engineering documentation, as-built drawings, asset schedules, and warranty records.
Identify opportunities to optimize construction costs, energy consumption, and maintenance expenses.
Ensure compliance with applicable Saudi codes and company engineering standards.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of relevant MEP design and engineering experience.
Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, HVAC design, load calculations, MEP drawings, BOQs, and site coordination.
Experience in retail, supermarkets, warehouses, refrigeration, or cold-room facilities is preferred.
Familiarity with Saudi Building Code (SBC), electrical standards, and fire and life safety requirements
