Description
Electrical Engineer- Marine
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years in the marine industry preferred
• Working knowledge of the following software: AutoCAD, Solidworks, Rhino?
Responsibilities
• Develop electrical schematics, cable routing plans, and cable length estimates
• Specify and source electrical equipment to be installed onboard vessels
• Develop electrical equipment arrangements
• Assist in and develop the technical portions of change orders: pricing materials and working with project engineers to estimate labor required
• Support Production Engineering as needed throughout the production of projects
• Support the development of standard processes and procedures in regards to electrical engineering
• Review electrical engineering deliverables for quality, approving them for production
• Specify, evaluate and recommend sub-contract labor for major electrical equipment installation
