Role Description The Tekla Steel Detailer is a full-time, on-site position based in Madison, WI. This role involves project management that oversees plans for structural steel using Tekla software. The position requires close collaboration with architects, engineers, and fabrication teams to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications. Maintaining compliance with industry standards and deadlines is a core aspect of the role. Efficient communication and strong attention to detail are essential to coordinate various stages of steel detailing and construction documentation. Qualifications Proficiency in creating and understanding Shop Drawings and structural plans Advanced skills in Steel Detailing, with experience in Tekla design software Experience with Steel Structures and the ability to interpret related specifications Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and project teams Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in steel detailing Experience in the construction or engineering industry is an advantage
