Electrical Design EngineerPosition Overview We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes while focusing on energy efficiency and sustainability.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign electrical systems for commercial and residential projects using Revit and AutoCAD.Perform load calculations and electrical drafting to create detailed specifications.Develop lighting design plans and assess energy efficiency measures.Collaborate with architects and other engineers to integrate electrical designs into overall building plans.Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes and standards.Manage projects from conception through to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.Conduct site inspections and assessments to validate design implementations.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.Proven experience in electrical design engineering, preferably in a consulting environment.Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software.Strong knowledge of lighting design, power systems, and energy efficiency design principles.Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and tools.Excellent understanding of code compliance and safety standards.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Effective communication and teamwork skills.BenefitsHealth/Dental/Vision401kFlexible Work Schedule (including Summer Hours)
