System One is hiring an AutoCAD technician for our client in Hershey. They are a unique education institution dedicated to making the difference in a life of a child. This is a 6-12 month contract position! AutoCAD duties Develop and maintain a full inventory of all architectural and engineering plans, specifications, building documentation and as-built plans utilizing Computer Aided Design technology. Research and coordinate the collection of facility data and manage the storage of project documents. Integrate information into a central facility data inventory. Reconstruct archival building plans for all existing campus facilities to electronic computer media and maintain all plans to current uses and conditions. Update all facility plans to identify changes resulting from renovations and new uses. Develop and maintain critical system, crisis, fire, and evacuation plans for all buildings on campus in support of Campus and Local Area Crisis Management Teams. Update Critical Systems drawings per yearly testing results Create up-to-date PDFs of full drawing set for each testing school year Field verify discrepancy found in field with drawing/s and update drawing/s as needed Field measurements and photo documentation of electrical equipment Attend meetings as required for coordination with all levels of management Daily communication between all levels of management to keep all drawings up to date as it exists on campus Update Crisis base plan for all Assets as needed Create One line drawing diagrams Conduct field inspections as required for Crisis and Critical System Plans Maintain Critical Systems (Access) database for tasks, testing schedules etc. of each Asset per school year. Maintain Critical Systems (Excel) issues log database per school year for each Asset tested. Assist with conceptual/preliminary design services to support Planning & Design, Construction, Facilities and all other Campus Departments. Assist with support to external constituent
